Agatha Christie's Holiday Home
Agatha Christies holiday home Greenway on the banks of the river Dart just 8 miles from Derwent Hill has opened to the public for the first time. This is a magical place where you can loose yourself on a barmey sunny day. The gardens are wonderful and the National Trust have made a great job of restoring the house. The best way to get to greenway is by boat from Torquay harbour across the bay then up the River Dart or indeed take the steam train to Kingswear then up the river to the house. Lovely pub opposite at Dittisham called the Ferry Boat Inn where adopted essex boy Ray makes all welcome Dittisham pontoon is also well known as a crabbing spot for children of all ages.
