Booking Conditions

1. A deposit of £75.00 per apartment is required May to September inclusive. £50.00 for the remainder of the year. This deposit is non refundable and you are advised to insure your holiday
2. Balance of payment is due 4 weeks prior to arrival by cheque (made payable to - Derwent Hill) or by phone using your credit or debit card or by cash on arrival by prior agreement
3. Cancellations must be in writing and received by the Proprietors 6 weeks prior to booking arrival date. Any cancellations less than 6 weeks require the full balance to be paid, which is only refundable if the apartment is let under the same conditions
4. Apartments are available for occupancy between 2.30 pm – 7.00 pm on day of arrival (times outside these must be notified and agreed with the Proprietors) and apartments must be vacated by 10.00 am on day of departure
5. Only the persons listed on the booking form are permitted to use the accommodation and any family or friends of registered guests wishing to visit must be by prior arrangement with the Proprietors and must not be allowed to use the swimming pool
6. All apartments are non smoking and smoking is only permitted in the garden
7. The person signing the booking form is responsible for the condition and cleanliness of the apartment on departure. The apartment, furniture and contents must be left as found and any breakages must be fully paid for. If no or insufficient attempt has been made to clean the apartment, whoever has signed the booking form will be sent an additional cleaning charge of £25.00 and an invoice will be forwarded
8. The person making the booking must be over 18 years of age
9. No single sex parties are accepted under any circumstances and the accommodation is for families and couples only
10. Any additional guests to be added to the booking form (if beds available) after the Proprietors have accepted it will incur a £30.00 change of booking fee
11. Children under the age of 18 years must be supervised at all times and must not be left on the premises unattended
12. The Proprietors accept no liability for any accident, loss or damage sustained by a guest to them or their property including motor vehicles, howsoever caused or sustained
13. In the interests of our guests the Proprietors reserve the right to cancel, without notice the accommodation of any individual or party whose behaviour is such as to spoil other guest’s holiday at Derwent Hill
14. Dogs must be kept under proper control in apartments and must not be allowed on furniture or beds and in the gardens, please ensure that you pooper scoop at all times and dogs must not be taken into the swimming pool area. They must be over 1 year of age and house-trained
15. Whilst the swimming pool is open for limited hours daily weather permitting (May – Sept) guests are requested to read the health & safety rules available in each apartment and fully understand and abide by them before entering the pool area.
